Alternate palm tree

I made a palm tree for VBS last year that was pretty easy to do. I, too, used a carpet tube, cut the bottom 3" or so off of lunch-size brown paper sacks and scrunched them on the tube, stacking them together on the tube to give it some dimension. Then I bought a huge fake fern (the kind that has huge leaves on it from Hobby Lobby) and stuck it in the top. Not too elaborate but I didn't have to put much time into it!
