morning work By Lynette

I subscribe to edhelper.com and use many activities from there for morning work. Sometimes I give crossword puzzles or wordsearches about a relevant topic ( If asked, I defend myself by saving it's vocabulary/spelling practice).| I also LOVE their reading comprehensions. They are multiple choice which is good practice for our state test. They come in all forms-- sceince, current events, poetry, stories. I usually go over the reading comprehension, but usually not the other stuff (sometimes though). Sometimes I collect the reading comprehensions for a grade because they are very easy to grade.
