morning work
By Lynette

Clip to ScrapBook
I subscribe to edhelper.com and use many activities from there for morning work. Sometimes I give crossword puzzles or wordsearches about a relevant topic ( If asked, I defend myself by saving it's vocabulary/spelling practice).
I also LOVE their reading comprehensions. They are multiple choice which is good practice for our state test. They come in all forms-- sceince, current events, poetry, stories. I usually go over the reading comprehension, but usually not the other stuff (sometimes though). Sometimes I collect the reading comprehensions for a grade because they are very easy to grade. Your
Kids who come late or last minute can either finish it during the day or be excused. Sorry it's long, hope it helps. Oh, math exercises are also available on the web site.
