Treasure Chest
By cassie

Clip to ScrapBook
I use a treasure chest/good behavior basket in my room. I use it as an unexpected reward for when I catch a kid doing something extremely kind, positive... I also will announce sometimes that it's been a while since someone visited the basket and say I'll be on the lookout during the day for a boy and a girl to visit. It can also be used if the class as a whole had a great day with you or the day before with a sub. I don't really have routine visits and this way any kid has the opportunity, even those who may tend to have not so positive days.

I was new to 2nd grade this past year and kept a lot of the same procedures/incentives that I had previously used in 3rd grade.
