I think the key to a well running Kindergarten classroom is organization. I teach all day by myself. I hope this helps. Here is my schedule:

7:30-7:45 DEAR Time (silent reading) I have classical music playing in the background
7:45-8:00
Morning Announcements/Pledge
8:00-8:30 Calendar/Morning Message/Bathroom Break/Lesson objectives/Daily objectives/Read Aloud
8:30-9:00 Independent Practice
9:00-9:10 Bathroom Break
9:10-9:35 Literacy Stations
9:35-10:10 Recess
10:10-10:2? Bathroom Break/ Wash Hands for Lunch/ Hand Out Lunch Cards/ Minute Math Games
10:30-11:00 Lunch
11:00-11:30
Nap and Reading Groups
11:30-12:15 Math and Math Stations
12:15-1:00 Rotations to Specialist Groups
1:00-1:15 Willy the Wisher (Math Story)
1:15-2:00 Science/Social Studies
2:00-2:40 Centers
2:40- 2:50 Get Ready to go home /Pass out HW and folders with parent teacher communication / Get Back pack together/ Line up in groups according to which way they go home (Walkers, Carpool, Bus)
