I like the idea of chair people to puch in desk chairs so no ones tripping. Another one that I like is "clean up police" or "trash patrol". This job involves checking the floor through out the day for dropped items (pencils, crayons, papers)and taking care of them appropriately (return to owner, put into trash or recycle, etc). It also invloves checking the room after playtime to be sure that toys have been put away properly (all the blocks picked up, cars put away on the shelf, etc.) Before everyone goes home, the clean up person checks the classroom floor and hallway/lockers for dropped items and takes crae of them appropriately. This job can be given to one person, a squad, or divided up into several "helper" assignments.
