lunch count/attendance
By wh

Clip to ScrapBook
I do something similar to the other responses. Students take their school picture early in the year. I get a set of their pictures to do with what I want. I buy sheets of magnets and attach their pictures to the magnet. I then cut them out individually and put them on a section of my white board. The first thing in the morning, students move their "picture" to the area I have marked for hot, cold, sandwich, or salad. Then a student that has the job of doing the attendance each morning, gives me the lunch count to enter on the computer. We can also "see" who's absent.
