    All I can say is to keep watching the ads and perhaps check out this link for job postings.

    There are often jobs in the more remote areas of Alberta but unfortunately not everyone wants to work for those school districts.
    Here are all the public school districts.

    For example Northlands School Division often has positions available as most of the schools are located in the Northern part of the province and are on or near reservations. But it is a good school division and offers a lot as well.

    I would also check each division's web page and look for their career opportunities, not all of them advertise in every newspaper because of cost.

    One word of caution - be careful if you get offered positions from school districts that are not part of the public or separate system. If you work for them you are not part of the ATA and often these districts and schools are harder to last in for some reason. Some of them are fine, but you have to do your research.
