    What about letting the kids ( may have to police it!) sample different chocolates from around the world and write about the differences? You could tie it in with a lesson on adjectives. If you got, say, Belgian...Swiss...French...maybe a bar of the high cacao stuff from South America...and cut them into little pieces, they could do a tasting and compare and contrast. :o)
