U of P By Rachel

I have taken a class through the University of Phoenix for the first time this year. I guess I was a little worried about it due to the lack of interaction with people. I ended up enjoying the flexibility of scheduling,| and conversing with people throughout the country, knowing I would not be able to do that at our University here. All of the work is done on the computer. We had a textbook that we were required to read, and needed to log on to the computer five days out of seven and respond to emails. This was somewhat time consuming and a little overwhelming at times, but again I found the flexibility |
| of logging on whenever I needed to to be worth it. I would recommend taking a class, when you have a little extra time, such as not during conferences, etc. I did have occasional problems and had to contact tech support, who are great and will walk you through anything on the phone. Along with the emails, we had a group and individual project, which was a paper and power point, which we then emailed to our professor. I hope this helps! I plan to take classes from them again in the future. Good luck!
