Thank you again to all of you Pro Teachers for letting me see the up-side of things. Many times, especially now, in July, when I am spending so much money on my classroom for the Fall, I lament the fact that preschool teachers at my school are given a budget, yet elementary teachers are given nothing for their class except basic office supplies and textbooks.
When read all of your posts, I see the benefits of buying everything myself. There is no quetion that everything in the classroom is our.
Despite this fact, I STILL label everything ( sometimes in the summer things disappear or people "borrow" items).I hope that as the new school year gets closer, we can all see the bright spots!
