Introducing the lettersof the week
By Gail

Clip to ScrapBook
Our district used the Macmillan/McGraw-Hill "Learning to Read, Write & Listen" series for several years and the letters were generally introduced according to their forms. This worked well for us. The order was c, o, g, a, d, s, l, i, t, f, e, h, u, b, r, n, m, p, v, w, k, q, j, x, y, z. We also had a review week every five to seven letters. Before that series was adopted, we made up the order based on seasonal and holiday events and units.
