I was excited to read your post as I am also doing the "around the world in 180 days" theme. I am using a "passport" cover on our scrapbook journals. The students will complete pages all year and have something to remember the year. I found some coordinating decoratives by teacher's friend with international flags and a sepia toned map background. I have considered having passports with the students' names and pictures (copied from the yearbook) on the outside of my door. I like the ideas others have given I hope we get more!!!
