The other post put it very succinctly. If he has signed the contract to fulfill those responsibilities, then HE is responsible for the special ed. side of things. You should tell him that you've realized that since he has that contract, he is in charge of this. If you had signed the contract to receive payment, you'd be happy to do it, but since he's being paid...(yes, play dumb. sometimes when people are difficult, this is the only way to get through to them) It's too bad you won't have the extra money, but maybe this will give you more time to spend with your family. (This guy sounds like a real peach! I'm glad I don't work with him!)
