reading programs
By FWTeacher

Clip to ScrapBook
The internet is a great place to start educating yourself. A brief description here is not enough information.

I am also in the DFW area. It is getting late to apply for a position. Most of the positions now are ones
that are hard to fill because they require extra skills like Spec. ed or they are located in a 'hard' school.

I work in a 'hard' school. It is low soc. ec. and has a large esl population. Our principal would not hire someone who isn't current. We have too much other stuff to be concerned with.

You could start with an internet search for each of the programs you are wondering

about. You could also go to the school websites and see what reading programs they use, so you don't have to research everything. Then if you have specific questions on how to do a part of something, you could ask it here.

Good luck on your search for a position.
