I'm so glad you mentioned your school and the way it is run because I've wanted to talk to you about this for awhile now. (I know you from the sp.ed. board and once responded to one of your posts about your great sight vocabulary study idea ---you know, each word checked daily).

I respect your ideas and suggestions. You come across as knowledgable and resourceful. In addition it seems your school is excellent. I notice a BIG difference in the way your school operates compared to how our schools work. In the past you've mentioned so many "supports" (i.e., the tech teacher who can program your computer from a remote location, or the O.T. who seems to be very available and very hands-on, and very helpful with suggestions----these are just two examples I remember off the top of my head but I've been aware of the "benefits" of your system for awhile now).

I'd say my system is not as "actualized" as yours is, in fact it's limping along stressing those that do care to do their very best. I've often wondered what it would be like to work in a more fully functioning environment.

By the way, I do spend my own money but there is no Wal-mart nearby.
