You could definitely use it in your classroom without anyone else in the school using it. We're using it school wide because it makes it easier for our support teachers (P.E., music, etc.) if all the teachers are using the same discipline system... they can send a little note saying Johnny lost his trust piece, etc. But, it is absolutely usable as a single class program.
