Gifted Student

I had two gifted students last year. One I could definitely see and the other never made the grades. I always wondered how he was labeled gifted. However, he could challenge me at times. He thought differently. However, he was a typical B student. He was a very logical thinker. I see it now but I didn't then. It was a huge learning experience for me as it was my first year and I had two grades to teach. I had to teach six subjects for each grade and couldn't figure out how to really combine since I had high and high. It was 5/6 and not a lot of the materials were the same.
