stay calm By Jennifer

I just completed my student teaching this past year. I was worried about being able to get ready for the 10 week program as well. I quickly found that as soon as you start, the book pretty much has everything mapped out| for you. The book usually is along with the course of study, in which your state has to follow. My CT always told me if I wanted to follow the book, I could or if I wanted to add some new things (pertaining to that subject), I could as well. There is really not a specific way to prepare yourself for student teaching until you find out what cuuriculum the grade is studying. Get yourself |
| a Huge Three ring binder, and get a lesson plan book. This is what helped me to stay organized and I could keep everything together. I know this isen't much help, but I'm sure once you start your student teaching, it will flow more easier.
