Jobs
By Lauren

Clip to ScrapBook
I was in a similar postion when I first got out of school. I interviewed like crazy and had great references. I started to get down on myself. I ended up applying for a job that was half way across the country. I started
my career there and then later accepted a position in my home state (a job that I didn't particularly want). Recently, I was hired for a position in the school district of my choice. It's been 10 years now. This is the first job I've gotten without having to know someone or without having to take a position no one wanted. Now I have experience and I feel I was better able to answer
questions during an interview. My point is...don't give up! It took me 10 years to get the position I wanted. Although I did have some rough times (away from home and 1 job I didn't like) I got through it and I gained a lot of valuable experience. Hang in there!
