I posted this on the 3rd grade board. I am adapting it to third grade, however I am not doing stuffed animals. I am doing Science books like Science fun with flashlights. I am doing a math money book with money games to play. I also include a class journal book. It will have enough sheets for each student and they fill it out. It continues with each family so others can read. My son's teacher did this and he loved to read what the other students did for their birthdays or with their froggy! It was great.
