At my school, we do not pay or are allotted maxs for office supplies (for the teacher), or copies. The school purchases all texts for the students. But we get no money for classroom supplies - it all comes out of our own pocket! We do issue a supply list for crayons, markers, notebook paper, etc., but I have t buy all of those supplies for my own children, plus a supply to replenish my students. Forget about materials for Christmas crafts, bulletin board materials, learning centers...all on our teachers. My husband gets pretyy upset about the amount of money I spend on my class. Although I plan to stay at my school (God-willing) I LABEL everyhting I buy, so there will not be any questions if I eve take it!
