pencil sharpening
By ashley

Clip to ScrapBook
You can make this a classroom job and let the person whose job it is sharpen all of the pencils at the end of the day--that way they are ready in the morning. During the day, i don't let my students sharpen their pencils in the middle of a lesson or directions. After you have given all directions and are ready to let them work, then let them sharpen pencils. As far as first year tips: be a team player (keep your fingers crossed that you will have a good team-it honestly will make all the difference in the world) and be consistent and firm with your discipline and reward system. Good luck and don't get discouraged. I wanted to quit after my first year and I will be going into my 12th year.
