centers
By Kathy

Clip to ScrapBook
I use a center management chart that I bought from Lakeshore. Basically it sounds like the way you do yours Lisa. I have 4 colored groups, usually the 4 table groups that I have, each group goes to 3 different centers a
day while I am doing guided reading with reading groups. They have to do all 3 each day. I move the center cards over at the end of each day to rotate the groups to different centers. So basically each week I have 12 different centers for the week. On Fridays we have free centers where they can pick their own centers. I hope this makes sense. It is pretty easy with this chart that
I bought. It is a pocket chart with the cards already made. Sometimes I have to make one that goes with something from whatever theme we are doing at the time. It has worked out great for me.
