As the Great Wind Blows
By Jen

Clip to ScrapBook
I teach in a small school so by the time they get to 5th grade they pretty much know one another, so I normally don't need to do introductions, but while attending a workshop this summer the instructor showed us a game to
play with the students that might work. The game is called "as the great wind blows". You have all your students except one put their chairs in a circle. The student without a chair is in the middle of the circle and says something that he/she has done (example - as the great wind blows has anyone went to Florida) if anyone has done what the person says they have to get up and move to
a different chair along with the original person in the middle. The person left standing is now the new middle person. Maybe you could use a variation of this game. Hope you understand.
