Clip to ScrapBook
I will be starting my Kindergarten year with the Olympics since that's when its happening. I found these events on the internet, but I don't remember where I found them.
EVENTS:
COTTON BALL SHOT PUT (throw from
a taped line and measure distance thrown).
GIANT STEP: each student takes a GIANT step
PAPER PLATE THROW: throw like a discus from a marked line on floor measure distance
HIGH JUMP(Reach): see how high each student can reach as high or one jump as high (while holding a piece of chalk in one hand) as they can.
STRAW JAVELIN: throw a straw using an overhand motion as far
forward as you can
TEDDY BEAR HANDFULS: with one try and one hand grab as many teddy bear counters as you can.
Make your own medals for each participant;ask for parent volunteers or older students can help younger.
