phonics!
By Lynn H.

Clip to ScrapBook
I used the 4-Blocks model, Working with Words, which was great fun! We used a Word Wall, played various games (making words, guess the covered word, etc) which allowed me to teach phonics without boring repetition. The great thing is you can use just the Working with Words section of 4-Blocks without having to deviate from any other reading program you have going. Check out the Carson-Dellosa book "Working with Words for Second Grade" for specifics.
