some advice
By Monica

Clip to ScrapBook
My biggest advice is stay out of the teacher's lounge. Whenever you are around some teachers all they do is complain. They complain about the students, the lessons, the principal etc. Any time you are around these negative
thoughts you start to join in. Don't this will have you looking for a new job very soon.

A good behavior management system that I do is the conduct book. When the students break a rule they have to sign the book and write the reason why. Each time they sign the book their daily conduct grade drops by one letter. I make them do this in a class notebook. It has been a good resource

for parent teacher conferences. It is hard for a parent to say you are picking on their child when it is their children's handwriting in the book.
Hope this advice helps. Good luck!
