have to sharpen 3

I tell my students that they have to sharpen 3 pencils in the morning. They are also allowed to use hand held sharpeners at their desk. If they say they don't have 3 pencils than they sharpen what they have. If those break I tell them they have to write with a crayon. They think that is cool at first but its gets old quick. Then they make sure to have 3 pencils.
