re: agendas By NeicyD

Our agendas were purchased by the parents. It was mandatory on their fees at the beginning of the year. Every morning we spend a few minutes on agendas. The kids print one or two lines. (copied off the board)ie Remember to wear running shoes, a hat and to dress in layers for playdayetc. (today's message) After they are done printing, they bring them up to be checked and I stamp them. (It is also encouraged from day one that parents MUST sign the agendas each night) There is a plastic pouch for notes in the front. Any school notes go in there. They are wonderful. Parents will write in that |
| they are coming at 2:00 to pick up a student for the dentist.(no more notes in the back pack that they forgot to give to you) As I said we record out Accelerated Reader Score in there and it is great for parents to see that daily. We write in things like " Ask me about our trip to the pet store". Or reminders when they have to have milk orders in etc. I can't say enough good things about them. I will look up the name of the place the school purchased the homework sheets from. (I know you can make up your own, but if the school if willing to pay for it, go for it because you have so many other things to do in a day!)
