From what I hear, administrators are sometimes reluctant to hire teachers with Masters degrees because they are more expensive. This might be something to check out in your area. Most teachers I know start with a BA and then pick up their master's as they teach. You may also want to check out an alternative certification program. You may be able to get your teacher certification while teaching with the degree you already have.
