I am sub and parent.

My children have had T who job-shared and I know a T who has job-shared for several years. They all had the same schedule. They worked 2 1/2 days per week.

One T worked Mon, Wed, 1/2 day Thurs.
a.m.
The other T worked Tues, Fri, 1/2 day Thurs. p.m.
They, of course, changed from year to year what full and half days they worked, but they made sure the full days they each worked were always Monday and Friday because those days were usually busy for a variety of reasons and the principals wanted the continuity of having one teacher working a full day versus them each working a

half day everyday.

On the half days, the teachers did spend their lunchtime getting each other 'up to speed' on what was going on during the times the other one was gone. They also arrived early or stayed later during their 'shift' when necessary.
