Bees

Our whole school last year had a bee theme. We used it with everything! In first grade we do winners get to school on time to encourage students not to be late...we made a huge beehive for the hall with each teacher's name on it and bees flying to the hive when everyone was on time...it was a friendly competition between the classes. Also, our motto was, "Green panthers are as busy as bees." We had "bee" manager's charts, great work boards,character counts posters. One teacher even put up a picket fence along her wall and a huge, stuffed bee and changed it's decor with the seasons. It was real cute! We also had real bee hives in our Science Lab, supervised by our science teachers. I hope these ideas help and this message wasn't too confusing!
