Stick with it
By Sunny

Clip to ScrapBook
I used to work in a school in a district with the low,low test scores and had the kids who couldn't read. I've left that board and moved to a more affluent one not as a career choice but for family reasons. (Long story) Anyhow,
getting to my point...During my time with the previous board I learned so much and accomplished a lot. There were so many things I learned on the job that I didn't learn in any textbook or teacher education program. (Mind you I'm not slamming either) I really felt like I was making a difference in my students' lives and I gave them opportunities they would not get elsewhere.

Teaching

in a rough school gave me a lot of spine, character, insight and appreciation of things. It is one experience that I would never trade in this world ( as crazy as it sounds).
