The 6 hours was spent documenting everything. You have to answer questions about what you did, why you did it, how it helped student learning, etc... Basically justifying what you do. They don't want to hear "because it's in the benchmarks". They want to hear real reasons (I saw a need for more paragraph work, when I saw Johnny writing one full page rather than breaking it into separate paragraphs). I started taking the prep class in June, then reading over the material all summer, seeing how it fit into my planned lessons, then started in Aug. (when we start school). I was finished in March. I did take breaks now and then - a few weeks at a time - when needed. If I can help anymore, I don't mind!
