What about "No Tolerance" Rules
By Jenny

Clip to ScrapBook
Our district has no tolerance rules. You break them, it's automatic suspension.

Lifting a girl's skirt is sexual molestation (if you touch without permission, it's molestation--words of sexual content or gestures are harrassment)-automatic suspension.

Hitting another student anywhere is violence-automatic suspension.

Perhaps if these "concerned parents" had to take time off work because of suspension, they would be more cooperative.

Along the same line, another district in my state refused to suspend a student. The teacher actually had to take the student and parents to court for an order of protection before her district would suspend the high school student.

There never seems to be amiddle ground in teaching.
