Zoo Phonics

Is this like Zoo Phonics? Teachers who seem to like it most are preschool and K teachers. To use it in other grades it seems it works better if they have had it before and build on what they know. Otherwise it is like teaching the alphabet all over again and then going to grade level appropriate materials.
