Veteran's Day By Sue Calhoun

I read The Wall by Eve Bunting. I give each child a styrofoam plate and show them how to use a blunt pencil to "engrave" a veteran's name ( I encourage a loved one, relative, etc.)
We do a rubbing using crayola or map pencil and a plain piece of white paper.
Done correctly, this "rubbing" makes a neat bulletin board.
