Blind Student in regular classroom

I am student teaching 7th grade English and Social Studies. I have a blind student in my class who reads braille, but my mentor only use worksheets in class and does not differeniate instructions. He sits in class for 90 minutes doing nothing except the warmup. Any suggestions as to what I can do to include him in class so he can participation.
