It's the not knowing

I definitely understand your frustration. I can handle changes in schedule, so long as I can anticipate them and plan for them. A few years ago, our principal wouldn't let everyone know that a special was canceled. Sometimes I wouldn't find out until I sent the kids to it! There's something worse about thinking you're going to have a break and then not getting it.
