Tardy students

Any ideas for what to do with tardy students? Our whole elementary staff would like to do something consistent that works. What do other schools do for students who come late? One of our biggest problems in deciding what to do is that it's often because parents are driving their children to school and drop them off late, so it's often out of the student's control. Solutions?
