A book that will help you to organize your class into reading groups is AT LAST! A READING METHOD FOR EVERY CHILD. It starts with Kindergarten and moves on through to Grade 3, with suggestions on preparing seatwork for each group while you are busy with another reading group. There is also a chapter on how to test reading ability so that you can group your children by skill levels.
