Not a waste of time

I am a spec. ed. teacher and I am also shy and don't like speaking to groups of adults (key word). If anything, I have found that this job has made me more outgoing and aggressive. It is different with children, that with adults. As the last post said, they have a different energy than adults. You are not wasting your time if this is what you want to do.
