Beach clean-up

A few months ago my class did a beach clean-up ( in areas that don't have beaches, you could volunteer to clean up another public are). My students and parents really enjoyed it. We have really clean beaches and were really amazed at how dirty the beach actually was. There were tons of cigarettes. We also drew no littering signs and had a sign company make them for a state park.
