Teaching in Berrien County

I teach in Berrien County, MI. I work at Northside School in Niles (early childhood building). Teachers in Niles start at around $32,000. We have excellent insurance, pay no premiums and have great prescription coverage. Michigan teachers do pay hefty union dues (MEA) - between $68.00 - $114.00 per month. Niles is a middle class community. Some really excellent districts in Berrien County are Bridgman, St. Joe, and Lakeshore. Hope this helps!
