Do you do any math centers? You can have the students doing different math centers (pattern blocks, geoboards, flashcards, games, etc.) and have yourself as a center. After they see you for a mini-lesson they can do an assessment with you, or you can give them the assessment to do while you take another group. After they are done with the assessment, they turn it in and go to a center.
