One thing I have found helpful is to call the schools you are subbing in and speak to the coordinator say once a week to tell him/her what days you are available. This is good for two reasons: you dont't get called by multiple districts when you cant work and it shows your interest in the school. Don't lose hope. I am scheduled for every possible day I can work in November!
