I use a washable marker to draw an "L" on the left hand, and an "R" on the right hand. This always works with my 4-k class. Then we do a song the kids love, and they have to know the left and right. It is the 'Cha Cha Slide'. They love it and the parents think its cute to watch! My class picked up on left and right in no time!
