I really think you should decide your purpose for switching. Having 'been there, done that', I find that the idea of switching for 'experts' in a subject negates the opportunity for integration of content material into large Language Arts/Social Studies & Math/Science blocks. Also, you really get to know your children as family which is usually the point of a Multi age grouping. Best of luck whatever your decision! ;-D
