Use Music
By Kate

Clip to ScrapBook
Try playing some calm music in the background- classical is good. You can play it during free time, or group work. Voice levels need to be low enough so that you can still hear the music. When the music stops its time to stop working or cleaning up.
It can be very effective, but if you students are not used to it you may need to do a few rehearsals to practice how it works.
