While "regular teachers" have their inservice meetings about curriculum, etc. our SpecEd teams also meet. We'll have presentations that are relative to our line of work: the latest changes in writing up IEP's, the most recent information regarding this or that disorder or syndrome, those who have attended a confernece or workshop will share what they have learned. No one is ever expected to "present" without prior knowledge, but we do often share workshop information, etc. informally.
